The Madrid Stock Exchange was the first Stock Market founded in Spain; it is without doubt the most important in our country and one of the most profitable in Europe.

Ever since the foundation of the IEB, the Madrid Stock Exchange  has collaborated with the Study Centre, organising the first Master in Stock and Financial Markets given in Spain.
In 1993 an agreement was signed by means of which the Madrid Stock Exchange  became the Financial Institution which sponsored the IEB.

The Study Centre’s privileged situation allows it to benefit from the moral and institutional aegis of the Stock Exchange, using the Palacio de la Plaza de la Lealtad as the site of its academic ceremonies and other similar activities, as well as permitting the use by the students and professors of the magnificent funds of the Madrid Stock Exchange Library.

Moreover, the sponsorship means that the President and Vice-President of the Madrid Stock Exchange automatically become members of the Governing Committee of the IEB.
